A Retirement Village is your home, therefore, at Ashbrook we welcome pets with their owners because we understand they’re part of the family too. While, both Cats and Dogs are welcome, they’re subject to Management Approval.

 
 

Please refer to our below domestic expectations if you are a pet owner in our Retirement Village, or if you seek a pet.

A.

Residents must keep the Residence clean and tidy to the reasonable satisfaction of Ashbrook Apartments.

 

B.

Pets are generally welcome with appropriate consent, but are the responsibility of and must be supervised by the residents. Pets must not be allowed to disturb other residents.

 

C.

Assistance dogs (including guide dogs, hearing dogs and other dogs specifically trained to assist people with disabilities) are permitted without restriction or access except as prohibited by law.

 

D.

Dogs are permitted in apartments on the ground floor, 1st floor in all stages with appropriate consent. Dogs are not permitted in apartments, the Communal Facilities or the Common Areas on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th floors.

 

E.

Permitted dogs must be under effective control, preferably a short lead, at all times outside the Resident’s apartment and must not access any area other than the lifts, stairs and the Common Areas in the basement, ground floor and 1st floor. All pets must be appropriately restrained whilst using the lift and care and respect shown to others as to not cause offence or disturbance to others using the lift.

 

F.

All pets are not permitted on the 4th Floor, Ground Floor Library, Meeting Room and Sales Office. If any Common Area, Lawn or Pathway is soiled by a pet, the owner is responsible for immediately cleaning the waste.
